Since 2016, Ball State has been honoring students who strive to promote philanthropy education across campus and lead philanthropy initiatives that benefit Ball State University. They are dedicated to thank those that made Ball State the great institution it is today.   

A Gilman Scholarship enables American students to gain proficiency in diverse languages and cultures, skills that are critically important to their academic and career development. The applicant pool was highly competitive, making your selection as an alternate an impressive accomplishment. As an alternate, I am still eligible to be selected should there be finalists who cannot or choose not to accept their awards.  

The club that I am the President of won Rotaract Club of the year for our district. We were recognized for the hard work that we have accomplished throughout the past year. We have done amazing work in our community of Muncie volunteering each week, planning events, and upholding professional development with our members.  

This award requires attaining a superior level of academic achievement through receiving a GPA greater than 3.5 for the semester. I have been recognized on the Dean's List for all of my semesters at Ball State University. I ended college with the honor of magna cum laude.  

This award requires attaining a superior level of academic achievement through receiving a GPA greater than 3.75 for the year. It is awarded by the Ball State University History Department. 

The Next Generation Hoosier Educators Scholarship provides 200 high-achieving high school and college students interested in pursuing a career in education the opportunity to earn a renewable scholarship of up to $7,500 each year for four academic years. In exchange, students agree to teach for five years at an eligible Indiana school. 

The AXA Achievementsm Scholarship offers college scholarships of $2,500, $10,000 and $25,000 to high school seniors who have demonstrated outstanding achievement in their activities in school, the community or the workplace. Scholarship winners are known as AXA Achievers.  

Charlie W. Scott wanted students who were dedicated to becoming teachers and bettering public education to be better prepared for higher education through his award. This award is given to a student who attended at least two years at Carmel Middle school, has demonstrated a commitment to community service, and is planning a career in education. 

Earning the 21st Century Scholarship provides students up to four years of undergraduate tuition at any participating public college or university in Indiana. After enrolling, Scholars must meet certain expectations in high school and in college to earn and maintain their scholarship.
